Installation and Activation
Installation
This installation file works on PC or laptop with Windows operating system.
There is no difference between downloading demo and full version (either Basic or Advanced).
Mapwel installs in an unregistered (demo) mode.
Demo transfers only limited number of map features into the GPS.
Demo turns into full version after insertion of activation code (registration password).
Windows 8 Specific Instructions
In Windows 8 it is necessary to switch to Desktop mode first.
Thist can be done by clicking
Desktop icon on start (Metro UI) screen or by pressing Windows key on a
hardware keyboard. In Desktop mode, use web browser to download
Mapwel installation file and then run it to start installation process.
Activation
Registration fee should be paid online with credit card or PayPal.
Activation code (password) is delivered in an e-mail,
usually within few minutes after successful transaction.
